I’ve noticed 13 Lexington (between Grand and Classon) a few times, and I can’t seem to figure out what it is. Apartments? Artist space? It looks simultaneously nice and sketchy.

Holy God, that place is huge
i lived across the street when it was a warehouse or whatever it used to be 11 years ago. they built out lofts there before i left the street. at the time it was prostitution every night on the street and lots of crack smoking. i could look out my kitchen window into idling cars with shady moves inside. also got a knife pulled on me, a monkey wrench swung at me, nearly attacked by a neighborhood guy i knew after i watched him smoke crack in a neighboring doorway, and got into a street fight with a dude who was trying to mug me. needless to say converting a building into nice lofts seemed pretty crazy at the time. years later a realtor told me that stretch is full of BMWs and has completely transformed.
I think it is called the Ping Pong building. Maybe used to make ping pong balls (paddles? tables?) there?
nope, that’s not the ping-pong building—-the ping-pong building is the loft building on the southwest corner of classon and clifton. and yes, they did used to make ping-pong balls (and maybe tables too?) there—some of my neighbors on clifton remember when it was a functioning factory.
used to be paper company. my friend lived there. big lofts, lots of mice & no C/O…
