Several readers emailed me last week to find out what’s up in the old porn store space on Myrtle, which is being worked on and has received an exterior paint job:
Reader comments in the Italian Restaurant post indicate that the space is slated to become a European-style cafe. (What does that mean? “European-style.” Guess we’ll see soon enough.)

a former colleague of mine has leased the space and has been renovating since Xmas. At the time his concept was something between a Manhattan-style lounge and a gallery. I dont recall him saying much about the food…
“European-style” means “tip included”.
I talked to the owner one day when I walked by and he said it would have American food. So maybe American food, European-Style?? Looks like it’ll have a big bar
