A source tells me that the space formerly occupied by Bodegas restaurant (SE corner of Fulton and Clinton, R.I.P.), is now slated to become an Italian fusion restaurant. The source tells me it will be called “Clinton Hill Bistro,” but maybe she was confused as that’s what the windows at Bodegas said. Or alternately, the new owners decided to just call the restaurant that and save themselves the trouble of redoing the windows.
Last I heard it was supposed to be a bank.
Remember when Bodegas took over that extra space on the far left for catering? The sign said, “Occasions.” Did that ever even open?

I think I heard the bank is going in to the old dance studio place across the street.
Yeah Sharon’s Dance Studio was the original rumored spot for the bank. No signs of it though. My wild guess is that a bank does not want to build on the unfinished & desolate looking Fulton St.
Sharon’s Dance Studio will supposedly be a bank. Bodegas is being developed by the owners of Pequena, Maggie Brown’s, Olea etc. PACC was involved in the leasing. Not sure if PACC was involved in the former dance studio place.

That WAMU is a home loan office, NOT a bank. It’s quite aggravating to have it staring you in the face and not have it actually be a bank. Would it have killed them to make it a combo location?
CAN WE GET A WAMU PLEASE? SOMEWHERE ON MYRTLE OR ATLANTIC/FULTON/LAFAYETTE?
Same thing with Chase. There’s the loan department near the Lafayette station but no ATM or bank.
I heard it’s going to be a French Bistro. I live right around the corner and walk by them everyday. I stopped in and talked when they were working on some stuff and asked them what was going in the other day. Four guys with thick French accents told me that they’re opening up a French restraunt. They said they were opening in a month or so.

I agree. Need an atm (Chase, Wamu,Bank of America,something other than that ripoff atm in the bodega.
I saw that the awning at Sharon’s Dance Studio came down the other day, so it might be one step closer to becoming a bank . . .
The deal the Maggie Brown owners had with PACC fell through, this is different ownership.
