Since moving into my apartment four years ago, I’ve had a difficult time finding a good arrangement for my bedroom. When I mentioned it to the RePop guys, they told me they’d be starting a room design service for just this reason. In addition to curating their amazing shop, they’re expanding to help clients create and arrange rooms in their homes. They’re fixing to help clients curate their homes, based on what kind of vibe customers are looking for. They’ll not only rearrange furniture, but search for the perfect vintage pieces.
Realizing it was probably time to upgrade my mismatched bedroom set, I agreed to give them a try.
I told them I wanted a more midcentury, warm vibe, but had no idea where to start.
A few weeks later (after I had painted), they sent me off for the day and styled all of the new pieces they had picked out for me (many of which I didn’t see ahead of time).

They also installed some vintage wallpaper in my entryway.

Fees for installation are pretty reasonable, and after spending DAYS painting the bedroom by myself, it was pretty sweet to leave the house for the day and come back later to a brand new apartment!

i LOVE the wallpaper too. although it’s a little hard to grasp the before/after differences when they seem to have altered the location of the bed and you had good stuff to begin with (i think that’s partially why most of the comments are about the wallpaper).

It truly was an exciting process! An entire revamp of the bedroom space was orchestrated. It was lesterhead’s wish to go with an entirely clean and zen look for the space and it was also her choice to remove her old furnishings. We give the client full support in keeping the items they have. We simply rearrange what the client has to work with, as was the case with her living room, except, ofcourse, the placement of the wallpaper which added an entirely remarkable element to her very West Elm / Ikea enviornment. The bedroom was totaly reconfigured from scratch using true danish modern pieces, including matching high chests and end tables comprised of teak, modern contemprorary lighting and a fabulous sculpted mirror. We were delighted that lesterhead gave us full reign. She left in the morning and came back around 5pm to an entirely fresh look(ala Queer Eye). The entire process (sans the wallpaper and consultation) took less than seven hours. We also consulted with her on bedding decisions, wall color and future ideas for the major living areas in the home. I wish you could see the grand scope of the room before and after as the photos certainly do not present the area in its entirety. Obviously there is only so much one can display on a blog and we are excited that not only was lesterhead thrilled with our services but also decided to post a blurb about them.
