Brownstoner told us recently that Olivino was slated to open a new wine bar on Fulton!
Looks like it’s nearing completion:
A few of you have emailed me, saying they’re already open. This seems odd, as I’m on their email list and I don’t recall receiving any notice. Maybe it’s a soft opening?
The new bar is just a few storefronts west of Olivino’s Fulton Ave location (between Clinton and Vanderbilt).
I, for one, am looking very forward to this.

They were open on Saturday night – looked like a friends night since Olivino was closed at the same time. Didn’t look like it was open for public business though, since there is still paper on the door. Looks cute though.
They were open last night, with candles on the bar; however, I did not wander in to check it out–perhaps this evening.
Wouldn’t you know it? A few weeks after I move to the West Coast, someone finally does something genuinely interesting on our stretch of Fulton…argh! Enjoy, everyone…Kinklosity – be sure to send a report.
I was in the wine store last night and overheard one of the employees say that that bar was now open…she mentioned something about it being open until midnight, if I heard her correctly. Can’t wait to check it out!
They’re open! I heard they had a soft opening last week and are now offically open for business. I’m not sure about their exact hours, but I do know that Sunday they were open until midnight. The paper’s still on the windows because they haven’t gotten a pull-down gate yet, and they didn’t want to advertise all the wine they have sitting in there without some nighttime security. But it looks amazing in there–a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.
I stopped by the wine store last night and asked about the bar — it’s definitely open for business. Closed on Tuesdays, opens at 5pm other days, and I think it’s open until 1 a.m. on the weekends. The hours are written on the paper on the window.
