It’s open!!!!
I checked it out last week. The space is very teeny, but gorgeously designed. The bar was filled with a good cross-section of neighbors, and the wine list was descriptive.
For now, they are giving out free cheese plates but plan to have a more full cheese-meat menu soon.
Fingers crossed that they do well. It’s so close to the C train entrance! Very convenient for an after-work glass of wine. I know I need them often.

Did they have beer?
11 or 12 blocks down the roar is a wine store also called Olivino. Is this owned by the same owner? It aparently opened around last Nov. or Dec. It’s at 426D Marcus Garvey Blvd.

ps. did they have beer?
there are two olivino wine stores and now the bar.
as for beer – they have a few on the menu but i didn’t see anyone drinking any.
It’s a nice spot but it is small as shit!
loved it. went there last night with some friends and low and behold the bartender from Little Bar in the East Village was tending! i was so excited to see her in another “little” bar and had a great time reconnecting. We ordered two delicious bottles of Rose as well as the sheep goat cheese and gouda plate. the beer selection was small: not fancy but decent. i recall Blue Moon being one of the selections, which is a fine brew for the summer, if you ask me. the wine list is excellent and the atmosphere is light and cozy. yes, it’s tiny, but it’s one of those great little neighborhood treasures those nearby will haunt.
