Teen Challenge might be selling off some real estate, but they’re expanding in new ways. A new Teen Challenge coffee shop recently appeared on Vanderbilt between Gates and Greene.
I haven’t seen it open, though. Anyone been in? Is it open for business?
Next door to the coffee shop, in the non-descript brick building, Teen Challenge appears to have opened a Blessingdales store. A Google search explains that Blessingdales it a Christian second-hand store. But there’s no store sign. Not the best promotional idea?

I think the store is only open on the weekends, and the coffee shop is Friday and Saturday nights only. I can’t figure out if it’s open to the public or not!
walking my dog i’ve seen a for the thrift store, but it’s on the clinton ave side, so i always forget to look for it by the time i turn the corner.
The store entrance is on Vanderbilt between Gates and Greene. I went in on their grand opening weekend and it has some used clothes but also new items including medicine, cosmetics and children’s toys. A very random mix! Prices were good.
