Speaking of new establishments on Fulton, a reader informs us that a sports bar will open on the same block as Olivino. Maybe in the former home of BKNY? Or is that something else now?

It’s opening in a recently renovated spot where “The Best Little Hair House in Brooklyn” used to be years and years ago. It’s between Olivino and Country House Diner.
It’s two store-fronts wide, and I saw them loading in HDTV after HDTV the other day. Sports bars can be functional, yes?

I work at zombie hut in carroll gardens and I’m going to start opening the bar at 11 on sundays for premiership games.
Cool. I’m all for more options in south Clinton Hill.
I wouldn’t walk into “Zombie Hut” if you paid me. Go comment on a “BoCoCa” message board.
I walked past this bar — now named Chance 11 — last night, and it doesn’t look like a sports bar at all. More like a lounge.
